The standard DIN EN ISO 22716, known as Cosmetics GMP, \u201cCosmetics \u2013 Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) \u2013 Guidelines on Good Manufacturing Practice\u201d, specifies the requirements for the manufacture of cosmetic products, e.g. in terms of hygiene, premises, equipment, documentation and controls. In other words, it is a set of guidelines designed to reliably regulate the product flow from receipt to dispatch \u2013 including manufacture, monitoring, storage and documentation. GMP certification serves as proof of compliance with this standard for authorities and customers.
