Smooth handling of toxic substances
Due to changes in legislation, classifications of raw materials or end products are occasionally changed. This was also the case for our customer, who was previously able to trade, purchase, store and process the material without any problems. Now the legislator has changed the regulations and the substance is classified as toxic.
In practice, our customer had been using the substance in diluted form and now wished to outsource the storage, dilution and other requirements, as they were unable to meet them.
Ursa-Chemie is capable of handling a wide range of hazardous substances, so we now purchase the raw material, which is classified as a hazardous substance, and produce a solution using water. By falling below the specified limit values, the solution is no longer a hazardous substance and the customer can now use the solution under the same conditions as before and does not even have to fulfil the above-mentioned requirements. In addition, our customer does not have to change anything in terms of regulations or internal processes. We only take care of the dilution directly and deliver the finished solution by tanker.
Efficient dosing and unique product shape
Our customer’s product was supposed to be produced as a liquid, but when it dried it turned into a paste. To solve the problem, a special manufacturing technique was sought, tested and approved by the customer. We have adopted this technology, rotating knives in the new VMT, and are now developing an innovative one-pot process for production. Advantage for our customer: It cannot be copied without further ado.
The same applies to the pastilles: The product performs well, but the dosage form (solidified 25 kg block) does not, as the material could not be dosed in this way. Our solution: The pastilles mean that the material can now be dispensed dust-free.
Complete service for optimum system performance
Our client has a high level of expertise and offers its customers the best possible service. The focus is on the sale of systems and their accessories. Chemical process additives are required as an additional component to round off the service package.
However, the customer does not want to actively manufacture chemical products. That’s why we, the neutral Ursa-Chemie, were used as a kind of in-house production facility for the customer and have been responsible for the chemical process additives ever since.

Can I also provide the raw materials?
Yes, you can provide all or only some of the required raw materials. However, you can also have all raw materials procured by us, Ursa-Chemie GmbH. You are free to choose!
Can I also store the finished products temporarily?
Of course, we are happy to store your products temporarily for the time between the finished product and dispatch.
Is it possible to use a customised label?
Yes, we can fulfil your individual labelling wishes! Labelling can also be provided for special requirements.
Can Ursa-Chemie develop a new product?
No, there are a large number of service providers who offer precisely such developments. However, we would be delighted if you could come back to us with your finished recipe and have your product manufactured by us.
What is the minimum quantity that can be produced?
It depends. Depending on the product and its requirements, there is a wide range. We will be happy to give you a personalised answer to this question during our project meeting.
How much does a product cost at Ursa-Chemie?
The product prices depend on your product and its requirements. You will receive an individual price calculated and offered for each product.
Can Ursa-Chemie process flammable solvents?
We can! We have a total of three production areas, which differ in terms of their equipment. We can work under explosion-proof conditions in our technical production facilities.
What payment terms apply at Ursa-Chemie?
As a rule, first productions are payable in advance or immediately net. All standard payment terms are then possible.
How quickly can Ursa-Chemie deliver a product?
If we already know the products, you can order them at any time. The delivery date is primarily determined by the availability of raw materials. We allow 10 working days for availability. If we are not yet familiar with your products, we will determine the requirements, create documentation and have this approved by you. This can also take 20-40 working days.
Which containers can be used?
We have several standard containers in house that are available in stock. Of course we also cater for special requests!
Can Ursa-Chemie also fill tubes or bottles?
We are bulk manufacturers and are not equipped for this type of filling. For smaller bottles and order quantities, we have a semi-automatic small bottling line; for larger orders, we rely on suitable partners at our side.
